A student from Garissa University allegedly prophesied last week’s Al Shabaab
terror attack in which 147 students were mercilessly massacred in cold blood by
the Somali-based militants.
According to Evans Okeyo and Samuel
Odongo, who miraculously survived the massacre by the grace of God, the attack
was prophesied by a female student of the Christian Union (CU) three months ago.
They noted that the female student,
only identified as Sister Irene, who hails from Ukambani, shared a dream with
them saying God had given her a vision that their campus was going to be
attacked by armed gunmen who will kill people like cockroaches.
However, when she shared her prophesy
and vision with the college’s administration, she was suspended immediately for
causing ‘anxiety’ and issuing alarming statements.
The students recalled how Irene, who
was then the Secretary of the Christian Union Club that lost almost all of its
members in the attack, went home crying that she may never see some
of her friends again, saying the attack was going to happen come what may.
Irene was still serving her suspension
when the Al Shabaab attacked her university and butchered 147 students,
including all her CU members, who were the first ones to be killed while
praying in a lecture room.
