Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s close associate has been accused of
conning a rich ex-prostitute in Mombasa by promising her that he will sell her
a petrol station associated with the CORD leader.
Herbert Ojwang, who is Raila Odinga’s
former Personal Assistant, picked a Luo lady known for being a prostitute in
Mombasa’s Sun and Sand Hotel and promised her that he will sell her a petroleum
station business and a night club in Kisumu.
Ojwang, who is a renowned Government broker,
requested sh 10 million from the prostitute who has had some escapades with a
member of the Swedish First family.
“The woman had connections with the
Swedish First family and she had a lot of money. After Ojwang met her at Sun
and Sand Hotel in Mombasa, they developed a relationship that led to
Ojwang having s*x with her,” a source said.
He said Ojwang who had protection
from Jakom later conned the lady Sh 10 million and even
threatened the lady with death if she tried to expose him.
Ojwang is the alleged whistleblower
who linked Deputy President William Ruto to the Sh 28 billion scandal in the upgrading
of Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret.
