A group of night runners from Homa-Bay
County have opened up about the shocking things they do at night as they demand
to be recognized by the Government under the Ministry of Sports.
In a clip aired in one of
Kenya’s leading local TV stations, some group of night runners were seen
jumping on trees like monkeys and one can confuse them with ghosts.
Other night runners scare people
in their homes in the middle of the night.
This has been a head-ache to
many of Homa-bay residents and night runners are now labelled as witches.
However, the President of Homa-bay night runners
refutes these claims that they are witches and demands that the Government recognizes
their shocking activities as a sport.
He claims that night runners
of Homabay have formed a group with over 7, 500 members and this can be good
for tourism if the Government recognized night running as a sport.
