wakati akitangaza kufanyika kwa tafrija maalum ya harambee ya kuchangisha fedha
kwa ajili ya kusaidia wanawake wenye matatizo ya afya hapa nchini kupitia mfuko
wa Montage Charity Ball,itakayofanyika Februari 22 ndani ya Hoteli ya
Serena,jijini Dar es Salaam.
Teddy ameeleza kuwa malengo hasa ni kukusanya kiasi cha zaidi ya shilingi milioni 100 kwa ajili ya kusaidia matibabu ya Wanawake wenye matatizo mbali mbali.Mgeni rasmi katika Tafrija hiyo anatarajiwa kuwa Mwenyekiti wa Taasisi ya Wanawake na Maendeleo (WAMA),Mke wa Rais Mama Salma Kikwete.

Montage Charity Ball 2013’ is a special event geared towards raising
funds for Women’s health. This event
will be held on the 22nd February 2013 at the Serena Hotel, Marquee
grounds from 06:30pm.
Speaking during a press conference today, The Managing Director of
Montage Limited – Teddy Mapunda said, ‘we are organizing a party for
stakeholders in the corporate world, public officials and embassies in one
area, to set the tone, for a good cause, after the beginning of a new year. It
will be a night of entertainment, drinks and food. Together we are intending to
raise more than 100 million Tanzania shillings towards women health
activities.’
The Guest of Honour will be Hon, First Lady of the United Republic of
Tanzania -Mama Salma Kikwete. Entertainers lined up for the evening will be
Kidumu a Burundi musician based in Kenya, accompanied by Barnaba, Peter Msechu
and the Kalunde Band from Tanzania.
Babra Hassan, Chairperson of the organizing committee said, ‘Women’s
good health is one of the pillars of a prosperous and growing society, I urge
you to come and participate in supporting this event by buying a table at
1200USD for a table of 10 people or by a single ticket for 120USD per person.’
Montage Ltd, organizers of this event, kindly request you all, in
support of this noble cause, to either buy a table, sponsor the event either in
cash or in kind or buy a ticket for this event. The proceeds from your
contributions will go towards health activities in our chosen charity this year
i.e WAMA Foundation.
