AL SHABAAB wants to hit UHURU under his belt - Look at where they are possibly targeting.

The Al Shabaab militia are now targeting places that will anger President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Government the most, a source at the National Intelligence Service has said.

According to an NIS official, Al Shabaab are targeting a symbolic pillar of the Kenyan economy where thousands of Kenyans will die and billions of shillings lost.

He said one such target is the Karatina Open Air Market, the largest open air market in East and Central Africa.

Karatina is a populous city in Central Kenya which is also like a second home of President Uhuru Kenyatta due to its proximity to Sagana State Lodge.

“They really want to touch the nerve of the President,” the officer said adding that they had shared the information with Karatina DCIO and OCPD to beef security in the market.

The officer also asked Kenyans all over the country to be vigilant because Al Shabaab is capable of striking anywhere in Kenya.(DP)
