In Tanzania, Ray C is no longer the same “kiuno bila mfupa”
artist we grew up admiring and dancing to her tunes. A lot has happened
and for her they are all matters of public record. She has also been
kind enough to share even the juiciest parts of her struggle for the
benefit of others.
Although she is no longer anywhere near the A-list, her life story is
an inspiration. Her well-documented [thanks to social media] struggles
with drug addiction and weight and how she battles them is something
worth anyone’s attention, prayers and support. She is a symbol of hope
to anyone struggling with similar challenges.
No wonder folks at Kenya’s True Love magazine have tapped her to
cover their April issue with an exclusive interview. Here is the cover.
