Ile skendo ya kusambaa kwa picha za utupu za msanii wa kike wa
Uganda, Desire Luzinda imezidi kumuweka pabaya, kwani sasa waziri wa
maadili wa Uganda ameagiza mrembo huyo akamatwe na kushitakiwa.
Kwa mujibu wa New Vision, waziri Simon Lokodo ameagiza polisi
kuwafuatilia na kuwakamata Luzinda na boyfriend, ili washitakiwe kwa
kosa la kusambaza picha za utupu kinyume na kifungu cha 13 cha Sheria
ya Anti- Pornography Act.
New Vision imeandika:
“STATE minister for Ethics and Integrity Simon Lokodo has
directed police to question local artist Desire Luzinda for her nude
pictures said to be taken by her Nigerian boyfriend that have gone viral
on social media.
“Police is on track to get hold of Luzinda and her boyfriend. I have
directed the Police to get her,” the minister told New Vision in a phone
interview on Tuesday morning.
The minister explained that Luzinda and her boyfriend will be charged with exhibition of pornographic material contrary to section 13 of the Anti- Pornography Act.
Section 13 of the Act states that: “A person shall not produce, traffic in, publish, broadcast, procure, import, export, sell or abet any form of pornography.”
It adds: “A person who produces or participates in the production of, or traffics in, publishes, broadcasts, procures, imports, exports or in any way abets pornography contrary to sub section 1 commits an offence and is liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding five hundred currency points or imprisonment not exceeding ten years or both.”
The minister explained that Luzinda and her boyfriend will be charged with exhibition of pornographic material contrary to section 13 of the Anti- Pornography Act.
